Paul Knox
Paul graduated in 2010 from the University of Otago, with a PhD in Clinical Psychology. His main area of research was social anxiety, and he still considers this area of practice a particular specialty, alongside sleep disorders, anxiety and depression.
Paul uses a variety of methods to treat clients, including cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing. He focuses on developing collaborative and respectful relationships with clients, and emphasises working at a pace that the client feels comfortable with.
