Madi Messenger
Clinical Psychologist
Madi trained at the University of Canterbury and is a Registered Clinical Psychologist. She has worked across rural, community mental health and Kaupapa Māori settings and her areas of interest include anxiety, depression, eating disorders, women's health, emotional regulation, neurodiversity, and relationships. Madi is rainbow-friendly clinician with training in gender-affirming care. Madi takes a person-centered approach, drawing on CBT, ACT, MCT, and mindfulness-based interventions and is flexible in how she works to best meet each person's needs. She values connecting with her clients on a human level and hearing their story. Madi works remotely, supporting clients with busy schedules or those who live further afield.
